As new major versions of macOS are released and older versions become unsupported, we highly recommend you continue to update your macOS to a supported version in order to receive mainstream support such as security updates as well as new features.
We found that our Add-in cannot work on the latest Mac OS (High Sierra 10.13.1). Our outlook version is 15.40. The Add-in cannot be loaded correctly. The Add-in uses AngularJS. It looks the ngview of the AngularJS cannot be run correctly. We don't know how to do further analysis with such error. Do you know if the outlook has a place to see the error like the browser's development mode to see the console information
The solution above successfully solved my outlook problem. The symptom I encountered was, the pop-up window when starting the app (should be related to modern authentication) is always white and I cannot do anything on it.After running the script, there was no pop-up window when opening the outlook.Lucky to find this page. Thanks a lot for your help.
Had a client whose Mac outlook 2016 app was repeatedly prompting for password after we enabled two factor authentication for their tenancy. Removing the keychain entries listed in this post was the answer. thanks for the info!
running to this issue with one of the users at my company. I deleted keychain entries that contain anything outlook, microsoft, exchange, as well as deleting the outlook account and recreated. Though I am reluctant to uninstall/reinstall Office, I doubt it will resolve the issue. There must be some recent update(s) causing the keychain and Outlook to break. BTW, user has the latest Office update installed.
In order to use Apple Mail with Outlook Exchange, you need macOS 10.14 or higher, which is required to support modern authentication. Modern authentication has ended support for Apple Mail on macOS High Sierra 10.13 or older versions.
A retina display is a IPS LCD and OLED displays that have a higher pixel density than traditional Apple displays. If your Mac computer has a retina display, this means that each user interface widget is doubled in width and height to compensate for the smaller pixels. Apple calls this mode HiDPI mode. The goal of retina displays is to make textual elements and images extremely crisp, so pixels are not visible to the naked eye. This is great for Mac users with retina displays, but not so great for Mac users that do have a non-retina display.
If you are using macOS High Sierra or Mojave and have a non-retina display (like an external monitor that does not display ultra-high resolution) you already noticed that the fonts and texts on that screen might be blurry and difficult to read. You can verify this by unplugging the external monitor from your Mac computer and looking at the native retina display that your Mac has. If you see a big difference in the blurriness then for sure your external display is non-retina and may have the issue we are talking about. But do not worry and continue reading the article as this is something that can be fixed.
One thing you can be sure about, if by any chances while you are configuring or touching any specific Settings in your Mac computer and you make a mistake and delete any important files, you can use Disk Drill to recover your lost data. Disk Drill is a free Mac application that will let you scan your Mac computer and retrieve your deleted files and folders at the highest data recovery rate possible.
macOS Catalina has been a problem for some users who have experienced Mail issues after the upgrade. Some users who use Microsoft Outlook as their Mail client have seen that their outlook app simply freezes or is very slow to respond on macOS Catalina.
You can use keyboard shortcut to easily show hidden files and hide them on Mac. In Finder, you can press Command + Shift + . to show hidden files. If you want to hide those files again, you can press this shortcut again. This method applies to macOS Sierra or higher.

The first thing you should do is determine if your Mac is compatible with High Sierra. It turns out the new file system has a high preference (no pun) for SSD based Macs. Macs such as the iMac with fusion drives are currently not supported by APFS and will instead continue to use HFS+. Apple plans to add support in the future. Here is a list of supported Macs:
Gmail, a free Google email service, has many features with a free storage space of 15 GB. This is one of the most integrated chat platforms with high-performance antivirus and spam filters. Microsoft Outlook for Mac, on the other hand, is another popular Microsoft Office Suite e-mail client. It enables users to identify various emails for various platforms such as Windows, macOS X, iOS, etc. It can be configured.
I'm trying what worked for you back in September. I went to Contacts>Preferences>Accounts, then highlighted the Google email account CardDAV and unselected the box next to \"Enable this account.\" Is that right I'm working with importing a large contact list - I imported a file of over 3000 contacts (I know it's not the same as what most people are trying to do here (enter one contact at a time), but the issue of disappearing contacts is the same.) Over a time period of about 20 minutes, (oddly) about 4000 \"No Name\" cards showed up and then the actual names of my contacts started coming in, but only about 250 of them. I then deleted all the No Names, thinking that would leave room for more of my contacts to load, but nothing more happened. Yes, there are limits to how much data iCloud will allow for contacts (even if you have more space available in your iCloud account). See here: -us/HT202158 But I culled my list down to within the limits and am still having trouble.
I contacted Apple Support about this last week. I re-produced the issues for them and we captured diagnostics for them to analyse. I received a call back yesterday to say that the engineers are aware of the issue and that I should just keep an eye out for future updates that may include the fix. No guarantees on when but at least there was the acknowledgement that they know about the problem.Given the number of recent comments on this blog article, I suspect more and more people are now encountering the same issue that I have had for nearly 3 years - so hopefully it will be given a higher priority that it has previously had.Lynette from iTandCoffee 1e1e36bf2d
